The nation’s largest home builder has turned on the lights and crossed the threshold of its new home.
D.R. Horton’s new corporate headquarters is located along Interstate 30 across from AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park in Arlington. The 6-acre site hosts a large four-story building with a parking garage.
Arlington residents may remember when D.R. Horton was headquartered in their city 13 years ago. In 2004, they relocated to the top of a skyscraper in downtown Fort Worth. During the economic downturn in 2007, they had to slash their workforce, leaving some spaces empty in the tower.
Today, those involved in residential real estate know those days are way behind us. Last year, D.R. Horton sold 40,309 houses, generating $12.2 billion in revenue. In 2017, their numbers are already up 16-percent over the same time last year.
Congratulations to D.R. Horton on their new home!
