For those of you in the Fort Worth area, you’ll soon see a new bank name.
Veritex Holdings of Dallas has acquired Liberty Bancshares in a cash-and-stock deal valued at more than $60 million. Liberty currently has two locations in Fort Worth, two in North Richland Hills and one in Hurst. All locations will be renamed Veritex Community Bank.
Veritex has been steadily growing its name and footprint. This is their sixth deal over the last seven years, growing its asset base to $3 billion.
We would like to welcome Veritex to Tarrant County and wish them continued success!
