Pei Wei Asian Diner is moving its headquarters from Scottsdale, Arizona, to Las Colinas.
While specifics of the incentive package are still being worked out, they were offered up to $500,000 in incentives from the state and $75,000 from the City of Irving. While incentives may have helped get them to DFW, their chief executive also cited ease of travel, proximity to their locations, access to talent and the business-friendly-environment of Texas.
Currently, they operate more than 200 restaurants across 21 states. Last year, the fast-casual chain racked up $366 million in sales – an improvement of $16 million over 2015.
Pei Wei will move into the Las Colinas Highlands. It is expected to create 100 jobs in North Texas.
