As cofounder and President of Southland Property Tax Consultants, Inc., Flynn is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. With over 35 years of experience in the property tax consulting arena, his duties include strategic planning, marketing and business development.
After graduating from Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The M.J. Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University in 1985.
Flynn is a member of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals, and is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a Senior Property Tax Consultant.
Flynn currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association, Davey O’Brien Foundation, Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, and the Stephen Breen Memorial Foundation. He is a past Board Member of Cancer Care of Tarrant County, ESPN Armed Forces Bowl, Greater Fort Worth Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Legatus, Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County, TCU Frog Club, and Past President of the TCU Lettermen’s Association.
Flynn has worked as a volunteer for Big Brothers and Sisters of Tarrant County, Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County and the Special Olympics.
Chris Copeland is Executive Vice President of Southland Property Tax Consultants, Inc. As a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) he is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate, and is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a Property Tax Consultant. His primary role at Southland is as a Valuation Analyst for commercial property.
He has experience with an assortment of commercial property types including industrial warehouses, shopping centers, multi-family apartment complexes, office buildings, retail, and various other classes of property. He has negotiated values with appraisal districts in over 100 counties in Texas, and provided tax appeals on numerous cases outside of Texas.
Chris Copeland graduated from the University of North Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He has been working in the property tax industry since 2002. Prior to joining Southland Property Tax Consultants, Inc., Chris worked for the Tarrant Appraisal District and Deloitte & Touche, LLP.
Chris is a 2007 recipient of the Fort Worth Business Press’ esteemed “40 Under 40” Award. The Award identifies and honors the most promising young executives in the business community, under the age of forty.
Hal Turney has more than 30 years of industry experience working with a wide variety of property types. His primary role at Southland is as a Valuation Analyst for commercial and industrial property. Turney has utilized his appraisal industry knowledge and techniques to obtain successful resolution for numerous Southland clients.
Turney graduated from Texas Christian University in 1983, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a Senior Property Tax Consultant. He is a non-practicing member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), certified as a General Real Estate Appraiser by the State of Texas and is licensed as a Texas Real Estate Broker. Turney has prepared appraisals for mortgage loan purposes on a wide variety of real estate, specializing in commercial and industrial properties.
Jordan Hansen is a Commercial Analyst for Southland Property Tax Consultants, Inc. He is licensed as a Property Tax Consultant by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and primarily focuses on annual valuation analysis for commercial real estate.
Before joining Southland in 2020, Jordan was a former employee of the Tarrant Appraisal District where he gained experience in commercial property valuation of all types, including office buildings, industrial warehouses, retail and multi-family. He later specialized in complex properties where he was tasked with the valuation of the Fort Worth Central Business District, hospitals and golf courses. Jordan’s experience has attributed to his expertise in the property tax appeals process and Equal and Uniform property Appeals.
Jordan Hansen received a degree in Finance and Accounting from Abilene Christian University’s College of Business Administration in 2014
Ron Blanton is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a Property Tax Consultant and is licensed as a Texas Real Estate Sales Associate. Blanton utilizes his investment property industry knowledge and real estate valuation techniques to provide unique consulting services resulting in successful resolution for numerous Southland clients.
With over 30 years of experience, in commercial property advisory services and national business development, he has experience with an assortment of commercial property types including office buildings, industrial warehouses, shopping centers, various special purpose properties, multi-family apartment complexes, shipping and distribution facilities, retail and other classes of property.
Blanton graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Prior to joining Southland Property Tax Consultants, Inc., Blanton was a member of national commercial real estate firms Marcus & Millichap, The Staubach Company and Jones Lang LaSalle.

Ryan Bukhair is the Vice President of Residential for Southland Property Tax Consultants, Inc. He is licensed as a Property Tax Consultant by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and primarily focuses on annual valuation analysis for residential real estate.
Prior to joining Southland Ryan was a Residential Manager at the Tarrant Appraisal District. Ryan has 13 years of experience in residential property valuation of all types, residential single family, land valuation, agriculture valuation, and multi-family. He has worked behind the scenes on CAMA (Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal) systems, data quality control, and market adjustments. Ryan’s experience has attributed to his expertise in the property tax appeals process and Equal and Uniform property Appeals. These skills and experience help Ryan dutifully represent his clients.
Ryan Bukhair received a degree in History and English from Texas Tech University in 2010.
